Last week, our reception children were invited to keep their feet of the ground when they were using balance bikes as part of their PE lesson.
It was a brilliant morning and everyone had so much fun!
The academy was awarded the accreditation after their engagement of sport throughout lockdown.
Children across the academy left their uniforms at home on Friday, to take part in the Book Trust's Pyjamarama Day.
Across the school, staff and children from nursery to year 6, came in their pyjamas to raise money to the Book Trust. The aim was to ensure every child get a story read to them; as well as raising money for charities.
Nursery have been working incredibly hard this week learning all about 'The Three Little Pigs'.
They have used props to retell the story and even made houses using different materials!
