What is "No Outsiders"?

No outsiders is a scheme of work based on picture books to support children's understanding of the equality act and what that means for the world we live in.

What does this mean for my child?
Throughout the school year, children will have dedicated No Outsiders lessons that will be age appropriate, creative and engaging. The lessons will run alongside our existing work to promote equality through the Oasis 9 Habits, our ethos, vision and  values. At Oasis Academy Watermead, we already promote an environment of inclusion and equality  for everyone despite any differences we may have.

At Oasis Academy Watermead, our PSHE curriculum is written specifically to support our children within our community. Each lesson has been carefully planned to encourage and nurture children to be the very best that they can be. No Outsiders plays an important role in helping children be ready to flourish in their local community and the wider world.
