Welcome to Oasis Academy Watermead Nursery!
We are a 26-place nursery setting providing quality Early Years education. We welcome children the half term after their 3rd birthday.
Within our nursery setting, we believe in ensuring each child has a rich and wonderful experience. We immerse ourselves into our themed curriculum bringing our learning to life through first hand experiences.
Throughout the year, our learning follows the seasons, valuing the importance of where we live and the nature around us. Exciting times await as we discover the treasures that each season brings.
The children engage in daily group activities focusing on early phonics, mathematics and circle time. The children then consolidate and extend their learning within our continuous provision. We also provide additional support for our children where needed with intervention groups such as ‘Talk Time’.
Our snack time is a special part of our nursery session, where we enjoy listening to stories and sharing news with our friends. All children in nursery are eligible for free milk and fruit as they are under the age of five.

Session Times
- All day sessions - 8.30am - 3.15pm
- Morning sessions - 8.30am - 11.30am
- Afternoon sessions - 12.15pm - 3.15pm
- Lunch - 11.30am - 12.15pm
Starting the day right - with breakfast!
Before you start your school day with us, we are delighted to say that we can provide you with Breakfast Club, served between - 8.00am – 8.30am. You can find out more about the cost of our breakfast club by visiting our Academy Day page.
